Security Questionaire...How Prepared ARE YOU?

Store Questionnaire
How Prepared are YOU?
Take this questionnaire to see how you and your staff would react if your store was robbed, your employees were threatened, or if an armed robbery occurs. Would you react appropriately? Would your employees be able to identify the perpetrator accurately?
The truth of the matter is, under these type of situations, you will never be prepared unless you have practiced it and are aware of what to do BEFORE a break in occurs.
1) Do you vary the time of your bank deposits?
2) Do you have a drop safe to deposit large bills into?
3) Do you have visible video surveillance in your store?
4) Are your cameras focused on the safe, the windows, the front and back door?
5) Do you have a customer monitor visible, so that customers can view themselves on camera?
6) Do you have signs posted outside and inside, advertising your video monitoring system?
7) Do you have access control on the back door lock? Do you change the code regularly?
8) Do you count cash away from the front counter, behind a closed door?
9) Have you rehearsed incident practices with your employees? Do they know what to do in an emergency situation?
10) Would your employees be able to remember the intruder and identify him, in the event that a robbery takes place? Do they know what details the police will ask for when making a detailed description of the intruder?
11) Do your employees know what constitutes a “suspicious customer”?

If you did not answer YES to all these questions, then please be sure to make an effective accident preparedness plan for your business. The only way to handle these types of situations correctly is to be prepared before they ever occur.

Awareness is the key to crime prevention.”
